JOB DESCRIPTION:
Apply your skills and advance your career as a sprinkler fitter with the New York Metro area's largest, full-service fire protection company. As an AFP technician, you will be involved in the installation with a variety systems including wet, dry, deluge and pre-action. If you enjoy working independently or on a small crew and you have the customer service skills as well as demonstrated hands-on aptitude skills, we have opportunities available for you. If you do not have the specific skills required but meet our other qualifications, we provide the appropriate training.

SPECIFIC DUTIES:

• Repair sprinkler and other mechanical systems
• Service, inspect and troubleshoot fire protection equipment
• Serve on emergency service team as needed
• Interact with customers on the job

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience as a sprinkler fitter preferably in the fire protection field
• Ability to read plans
• Customer service skills
• Valid driver's license
• Computer literacy a plus
