FIELD TECHNICIANS are assigned a company vehicle which they take home every night. This enables them to get an early start on their day while limiting any delays in responding to an emergency.
WAREHOUSE & SHOP PERSONNEL support our field technicians by servicing cylinders in our shops, maintaining inventory and delivering material to job sites.
HOME BASE ADMINISTRATION includes our operations, sales and management teams. They are responsible for making sure that the day-to-day operations of AFP run smoothly by staying in constant communication with our field technicians, vendors, fire officials and customers.

Training Program
Our program focuses on training individuals with a mechanical or electrical aptitude who are interested in learning about the fire protection trade. Our paid, two-year program has been approved by the United States Department of Labor and prepares participants for a rewarding career in the fire protection industry through on the job training as well as classroom instruction. Throughout the training program, participants are mentored by veteran technicians. They begin by learning about the basics of fire protection and progress to more complicated topics throughout the duration of the course.
The AFP training program enables us to offer employment opportunities to qualified individuals who may be beginning their work experiences, looking for a career change, or are currently unemployed and seeking employment. With three regional offices in New Jersey, Associated Fire Protection has over 100 employees and is one of the largest fire protection companies in the state providing services to customers in New Jersey and New York.
Company culture
We believe in giving back to our community. We donate our time and our financial resources to a variety of different local, national and international organizations. In the past, we have assisted Eva’s Village, an organization based in Paterson, New Jersey that is and dedicated to helping the most vulnerable members of the community. In addition, we have donated to Story Corps whose mission is to preserve and share humanity’s stories. We also support Education for All Children, a nonprofit that finances education for disadvantaged youth in Kenya.
