Fire Code Violation

A Notice of Violation (NOV) may be issued at the end of a fire inspection to notify the owner, tenant or property manager of the location in violation.

The purpose of fire codes is to establish reasonable minimum requirements and standards for life safety and property protection. One of the areas addressed in fire codes is the design, installation, operation and maintenance of devices, equipment and systems designed to prevent, mitigate, control and extinguish a fire, explosions, as well as some additional life safety hazards.

It’s important to know these violations and how to correct them immediately.   • 24/7 Emergency Service. Emergency service available to quickly get your fire alarm system back into service (for Protection Plus and Platinum Plus Customers).
